PostPro DPX is designed for use with powder-based additive manufacturing technologies like SLS. It effectively removes powder from nylon and other polymer parts, regardless of geometry or complexity.
In automatic mode, parts are cleaned in bulk using a rotating basket, ideal for high-throughput workflows. Manual mode allows users to depowder individual or delicate parts using the built-in glove system and blast gun.
The DPX has a compact footprint of 985 × 1135 mm, making it suitable for small labs and production areas. Despite its size, it provides full functionality and professional-grade depowdering.
No external extraction is needed — the DPX includes an integrated high-efficiency filter system. This ensures a clear view inside the blasting chamber and helps maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Yes, the system is ATEX-certified and equipped with a powerful internal dust filter. It’s designed specifically for safe operation with fine and potentially combustible polymer powders.
The built-in ionization unit neutralizes electrostatic charges on the parts, preventing powder from clinging to the surface. This results in cleaner parts without the need for extra manual brushing or wiping.
DPX can function as a standalone depowdering station, but it also integrates perfectly into a broader post-processing workflow. When paired with systems like PostPro SFX, it enables a fully automated, industrial-grade finish.
